A Google play gift card honestly isn't a fair gift if your rule is "Buy $50 worth of stuff for the other person"

Because you're just delegating your responsibility of buying her cool stuff back to her.

The whole point of buying $50 worth of stuff for each other is to try to buy the other person something cool that they may or may not have bought for themself.

A giftcard doesn't fulfill the obligation, imo.

What book did you get her and what type of music and books does she like?

The book had one of those Bible Study titles where it's like "The Whatshisname series by Whositwhatever Church: Topic" but it was about the book of Isaiah.

And the reason I played it safe with the gift card for music is because I have yet to find a formula for her musical tastes. For every group she likes, there's one she hates, and I don't honestly see much difference.
