Oh, your history isn't good.

To be fair the UK, US, Russia (and everyone else involved) owes their freedoms to each other.

And the US did not enter the war to save our asses, you entered because of Perl Harbour. Hitler, not for want of trying, was unable to invade the UK. We developed the spitfire, radar and the ability to decode Hitler's messages which kinda threw a spanner in the works.
