Considering it is both a remake and has Dwayne Johnson in it, I'm stunned the rating is that high.

Actually it only has a 6/10 on rotten tomatoes and a 5.5/10 on metacritic.
But critics are often dead wrong, copying each others scores, getting paid for scores or rating without seeing a movie or series. Notable examples are the reboot Star Trek movies, The Ghostbuster remake and the science fiction series The Orville. ... Copied to Clipboard!
