I can see where the TC is coming from, the gameplay specifically has aged and there is a lot of combat in that game. Sure you get unlimited ammo but you are constantly fighting the cover system. What Mass Effect 1 has going for it still is the story and characters. Andromeda just has lifeless teammates that I don't care about at all, my first play through I didn't romance anyone because my choices were dreadful. Whereas ME1 gave us Wrex, Garrus, racist Ashley, blue side boob, Carth Onasi and Saren. Shouldn't be playing ME1 as a cover based shooter tbh, it's more of a "run around out in the open being badass" kind of shooter. The mass effect 1 skill trees were just too much here's minor stat boost and every so often you unlocked an ability. Although Mass Effect 2 did completely gut both the skill trees and choices with equipment making there not many options and less interesting overall. Although it made it up with the build the crew focus. Jump out of the car to get last hits because you get a lot less xp when in the car. Wrex + Tali with super shotguns was my go to team.
