Does it pay more than your current job? San Diego is nice if you're downtown. The move had more to do with being in the field I want (renewable energy development), and most important getting away from the icy hellscape of Northeast Winters. Most of what's keeping renewables alive right now is government incentives and Power Purchasing Agreements where a company signs an agreement to buy power at a set rate for a certain amount of time.
