I have this old ass router, a modem/router combo from my isp and an access point.
Would there be any problems if I named all the SSID the same thing? Or am I better off naming them all differently? --- i7-3970X Extreme ~ Asus Rampage IV Extreme ~ 32 GB DDR3-2133 ~ 10 TB 7200RPM ~ 500 GB SSD ~ 690 x2 ~ 1200 W PSU Gold ~ ... Copied to Clipboard!

They should all function regardless of same SSID however from the UX perspective, it may become difficult or impossible to determine which SSID belongs to which device when connecting. This problem becomes more profound if you connect a device to both and the device remembers both of them.

You're better off naming them differently. Yeah, especially for troubleshooting situations. Even if you just name them SSID 1 2 & 3, it's still something. --- I am the Stig "Or I could just, you know, drive the f***ing car." - TUSMEnterprises ... Copied to Clipboard!
