Since we're reminiscing, I feel it's fair for us to talk about how in successive years during User of the Year's Golden Parcel round I took out transience and KleenexTissue50 at a time when the Clique was at the peak of its powers on Board 8.

But seriously I love reminiscing about all these things that have happened. I feel like those two UoTYs were right around the time that the pikaness thing happened because I was definitely living in Michigan at the time. (not in no basement either)

it's been so long, but I don't think this happened! I only had one good run at UOTY anyway. that's probably the only user contest I remember in detail at this point because it was a total sham.

And you had two years where you did really well. You made the final the year before I beat you and I'm pretty sure you should've won but Smurf had it out for you and kinda rigged it so FFD would win (srry FFD).

I think it's more memorable that way though so I'm kinda glad it happened. the good old days.

I really really liked Ann Arbor. Disappointed I never got up to visit Traverse City, I hear it's great up there.
