I have...as a matter of fact I felt suicidal earlier today. I talked with my mom to clear my head of negative thoughts, though.

Yes, I think about it every day. Several times I had very real considerations to do it, and prepared what I needed. Twice I was on the verge and backed out.
I'm not going to go into details, because I don't want to get modded, but I'm feeling that way pretty strongly recently too.

Made an attempt half a decade ago, managed to botch it. Occasionally reach mental states in the same ballpark as back then, but I've been able to shake them off with less difficulty in recent times.

Yes. Like many I thought the situation would never improve but after some months of suffering things started to brighten. I'm proud to say I got through it without anti-depressants. Hang in there.

it's weird, i was never really depressed or anything but i remember as a teenager i would often think to myself "hey i should kill myself today" and similar such thoughts

Nope never. I try to maintain an ever-positive outlook and lifestyle. Simple thoughts such as how rare life itself is and for us to be alive, help me. I think of life itself as heaven

Sometimes tbh.

I guess I just feel kind of empty about my life sometimes and that my partner doesn't deserve to put up with me. I know realistically I'll never do anything to harm myself and that it'd hurt my partner more than anything else ever could...

Doesn't change that sometimes those feelings overcome me and I want everything to just not be.

Yup. This past summer was a really dark spot for me.

By comparison though this fall/winter is just ... Amazing. Complete opposite. O.o

Yeah, pretty much constantly in high school.

Nowadays not as often, and even when I do it's less out of depression and more "why bother", apathy I guess. Not sure if that's an improvement or not, but the fact that those thoughts pop up far less frequently is for sure.

I got them when I quit taking an SSRI many years ago the withdrawal effects were scary tbh, I would just get these random urges to go through with it it wasn't even deep depression really more like an urge to eat something or play a certain game but instead it was those thoughts. I would be completely happy playing basketball with some friends with tears pouring down my face laughing it was fucked up
