But it's an excellent metroidvania style game. Loved it...

It's pretty fun. I would recommend playing it on the hardest difficulty as it's far too easy otherwise. Even hard isn't hard.

It's DEFINITELY a furry game, but they aren't really sexualized so it's cool.

ok I made it to the village on the hardest difficulty, already died a few times too. Fun so far

Tbh, once you get a feel for the combat, the only actually hard parts on the highest difficulty are environmental hazards. Like, that one underground area with all that acid or some shit dripping out of the background was just stupid. And if you fall in lava, then that's a death unless you lower the difficulty, invincibility frames are way too short. Aerial Dust Storm completely trivializes combat later on, and can also lead to some minor sequence breaking. Mid-air grab attack trivializes horizontal-heavy platforming. Still got all achievements though, it was fun for what it was. Might play it again sometime.

I'm getting my s*** pushed in in this game lol, a normal enemy takes almost a third of my life in one hit which wouldn't be the end of the world except that the save points don't heal me whatsoever

IIRC, hardest difficulty save points only heal you up from critical health. It's not too bad once you A), get better at the combat system and B), realize Fidget's magic gets crazy overpowered later so you basically never worry about dying to normal enemies again after getting the achievement for parrying at low health. Seriously, prioritize upgrading Fidget's magic and Dust Storm/Aerial Dust Storm spin to win.

God dayum thus is a nice game just got the fire powers for fidget, thanks for letting me know to max out the difficulty settings, the game just wouldn't be the same without the early challenge
