Rick and Morty fans are the worst

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick and Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existencial catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. And yes by the way, I DO have a Rick and Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

That has got to be the most pretentious thing I have ever read

It's one of my favorite copypastas right next to the "I saw Flying Locust in a grocery store"

This really causes me extreme chagrin, quite immensely indeed, when some wise guy posts some obviously satirical copypasta and can't help but "cringe" at it. Au contraire, it is perhaps the inevitable outcome of your inchoate minds (sub 140 iq, I'd wager a Drachma on it, cute) not being able to detect obvious sarcasm. Yes, I'm talking about the Rick and Morty "copypasta", you ingrates.

"philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance"

This is pure twaddle. And yet it managed to fool you? Have you even read La Conqute du Pain, you over-inflated mediocrity?

"the humour in Rick's existencial catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius unfolds itself on their television screens."

This should have given it away to anyone with half a properly-firing synapse in their brain (that's a concept in neuroscience, something which I understand better than many college professors, incidentally), but clearly these Untermenschen do not fall into the aforementioned Predicament (a reference to philosophy, something I have educated myself immensely in through my consumption of Rick and Morty).
What is the Noumenon here, the referent to which we are all referring? Why, it is nothing more than an impersonation of an idiot, made by an idiot, for other idiots to read and smirk amongsteth themselves, thinking themselves clever; but little do they know, that when one comes into the arena with Knowledge as their Gladius (Latin for sword, feeble-minded ones) they can cut through such foolishness like a Plumbus through margarine.
Clearly, you are not wise, for if you were, you would not have risked inflaming my wrath. Clearly, you are not knowledgeable, for if you were, you would have been aware of the utter inanity of discerning any connection between "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub" and , which I have read in the original Russian, naturally, which really helps one appreciate the playfulness of the masterful prose.
Farewell, fools.

When you're watching Rick and Morty, just remember that it's not like other tv shows. Their plotlines are incredibly subtle, almost to the point where you have to have a complete grasp of theoretical physics to even remotely understand them. I remember watching an episode in S1 (though I can't remember what it was), where I thought the jokes were absolute bollocks during the watching. Then, I read the wikipedia article on Nietzche, and all of a sudden the episode had an entirely new meaning. It was insane the way Dan Harmon's masterpiece could just become something so different when you take a look into the jokes.

Another thing you should note about Rick and Morty is that it's easy to get a headache watching them. Not because it's a bad show, but because of how many ideas their jokes are riddled with and how complex they are. Soon enough your head will fill to the brim and the rest will just sound like noise to you. Just turn it off and give it a watch the next day.

If you don't like the jokes, you'll definitely at least enjoy reading through the synopses, and picking apart the plots themselves and all of the deep philosophical messages that go into making it the complexity that it is.

Don't watch the show, never had the sauce when it was originally released, but reading about the promo, yeah McDonald's dropped the ball/sauce on this one. To say they simply underestimated how big of a meme this was is an understatement.

And no, saying it would be in limited quantities beforehand isn't gonna cut it. Make more, bitch.

did he have it in his hand? you should have just taken that shit. I think the people rioting are a bit ridiculous, but in your situation, if those bastards let you wait in line for possibly hours only to say "lol we didn't get it" because their dirtball employees wanted to scalp it. They deserve to have it taken from them, It's not like they personally paid for it anyways.
