Thinking about trying the S8 or the Pixel 2 when it gets released.

Just grown a little tired of Apple and with the iPhone X just not that interesting to me thinking it might be time for a change.

Whats the worst/hardest parts about the transition?

it takes a day or so for switching off imessage to take effect so you'll miss texts for a while.

also women start seeing green bubbles and delete your number

Not much. Honestly unless your tech savvy their's no difference between the 2. And if you are tech savvy Android is always the way to go.

Androids restart themselves and have more problems. iPhones are better.

An OS that will get slower over time no matter how many cleaner apps you run.

In the case of Samsung, a very large segregation between Android's default software and Samsung's own software.

Loads of advertised customization but still no way to have the battery percentage in the status bar without the fucking battery icon next to it.

A virtual assistant (Google/Bixby) that still has a hard time doing system-based tasks for you like playing music or opening settings.

Infrequent updates. You'll get next year's Android release and after that no guarantees. Meanwhile the iPhone 5 lasted 5 years.

But hey, at least there's emulators.
