I think the popularity of buffets has gone done in recent years. Imo regular restaurants like olive garden etc. give you enough food at one sitting. Eating at buffets sometimes lead to overeating and that feeling is sickening.

do you find yourself overeating at buffets? Like making your stomach kind sick?

Naw its not often I eat til my stomach hurts, I try to get one or two bites of everything I want to try and then for the second plate I get what I liked. So portions usually work out well.

I like them mostly but I do feel more of a temptation to overeat

Do you find that when you eat at regular restaurants that the portions they give you are too small? I usually do not. And averaged out buffets might cost you a little more than like an olive garden, applebees etc. for once course meal

Portions are normally a little too much or way too little depending on the restaurant.

not into indian food, must be a whole lot of curry dishes. Kinda prefer arab food to that. Though not really a fan of either

It's fun for the variety but kinda stressful in that if you're not eating enough you're not getting your money's worth.

Chain restaurants with buffet and Asian buffets around here pop up and make people sick and then close. But there's always at least two open within 10 mi.

The best buffet I've had was at an all inclusive. Especially at breakfast.

It depends on the price and food. I like the variety, but they are mostly too expensive. They are often not worth it for me because I hate eating, and can't eat a lot. Seeing people with big plates of food makes me sick.

There used to be a hometown buffet near me and my ex and I would go almost every Sunday morning. Mountains of bacon, sausage, biscuits with gravy, and waffles.

Buffet owners would love you. All that pasta from the carbs would fill you up faster.

yeah i like buffets well enough. theres a chinese buffet near my house that has alright food but 7.99 and all u can eat portions which isnt bad. Of course if I bought a single meal and was served that quality of food i'd be disappointed.

If you want the ultimate buffet experience, i recommend a place like Texas de Brazil. It is expensive(50 dollars a person), but its got a fancy buffet with good quality food, but also unlimited cuts of meat. They have waiters coming around ever 5-10 miniutes offering cuts of higer end meats and you can eat as much as you want. expensive but worth it every now and again since the food is amazing, much, much better than youre average buffet.

There is this one buffet place near seattle called Feast, and they have everything that I would ever want out a buffet. Salmon, ribs, pizza, sushi, fruit, veggies, raman, other meat dishes, Chinese food, American food (burgers, fries, etc) and so much more that I'm forgetting.

It's freaking amazing. Cost like 40 or 50 bucks I think (maybe even 25, I can't remember ), but it's so worth it. The food all taste good too, it isn't some cheap crap

Yes with Golden Corral being my favorite restaurant of all time. :) But to control my diet, I don't go there too often unless if I plan on making it my entire day meal (covering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack/dessert for the entire day).

When KFC had an all-you-can-eat buffet when I was a child, I remember getting sick overnight and I would often wake up going to the bathroom, barfing. I think I did that 4 or 5 times in that one night.

We mostly only have Chinese buffets. They're okay at times.
I usually eat a plate of fruit first then grab some entree style stuff.
Usually fills me up.

No. I'm small and don't need a lot to fill me up. Also, I normally only want 3 or 4 things from it at most. May as well order a fresh meal of the things I did want and then have leftovers to take home.
