The moral of the story is why the fuck would you watch LPs in your spare time? LPs are a lazy, brainless substitute for friends and an excuse to not think or strive. It's a mentally and emotionally destructive pastime that is destroying the youth. These "online personalities" are creatively bankrupt failures who profit from children and beta orbiters. They do not inspire any sort of growth or critical thought in their viewers. They do not have skills to display or anything good to say. This may be a bit harsh, but its like a form of simulated social interaction, like the VR version of that feeling you'd get when you were a kid and you had all the time in the world to chill on the couch with your buds and pass the controller back and forth. I get it, i just dont have an interest in crazy stream shenanigans and believe me i've given it a try. Several times and though i wont pretend i hate it completely its not interesting to me. As for LPs, they kind of bore me as well now, which shocks me because i was kind of into them. Im watching two best friends play getting up contents under pressure, but thats only because i enjoyed that as a kid. (Now realizing it wasnt the best game). I watch some LPs cause im cheap and the early plays help determine if thats the game for me. Said game sits in wishlist if it makes the cut. It stays there until the price is right. Theres only 1 banter i enjoy from LPs and the dude is a geologist by day and LPer on free times. He talks about the earth and the game. Then talks how detailed the terrain is on some games for that lil nugget of information.
