Idc about your beliefs idc if you're an atheist. Something HAD to come from nothing if you back in time to the very beginning.

My hang up, always, is the beginning came from something, and that something came with something, and this continues to go backwards for eternity.

If there's a God, where did God come from?

If it started from particles, where did they come from?

The possibility of something coming from absolutely nothing is either vastly superior to human intellect, or it's something we are never meant to know in our human lives.

Saying something came from nothing makes zero logical sense. People who say "God is and always has been" can't provide an answer of if he has been eternal, wouldn't he still be going back in time in an endless road of nothingness because eternity never began from anything?

God created the concept of time, he certainly isn't bound by man's limited understanding of it.

It's always possible something in some form or another existed. The idea of a beginning and end is a human one cause it's simple to grasp. Doesn't mean it has to be that way tho

The heat death of the universe is likely never going to happen. Everything has simply always been here, neither created nor destroyed, for an incomprehensible amount of time. Each time, something halts the expansion of the universe and pulls it back into a big bang. This has likely been happening for trillions and trillions of years.

There could have been crazy advanced civilizations in previous phases, trillions, if not quadrillions of years ago for all we know.

No credible person in the scientific community actually takes this proposal seriously.

fyi, the big bang only refers to the expansion of the universe from an initial point. it has nothing to do with the creation of the point in itself. there's nothing in science that says that all existence ever started 13.7 billion years ago

This paper talks about it.
