I'm going to buy a 43-inch 4K television for my room. My current television is a 32-inch 720p TV.

It depends on the upconversion of the TV. My two year old LG OLED looks awesome. A lower end TV might not look as good. Just check out the scores on Rtings.com.

It'll look fine. HD is HD so it's not like it will suddenly look like garb because it's a 4k TV
