I found it as an insult when people tell me. It's just either a sign that you don't play sports or never done physical work. I've done physical work before and played a shitton of tennis. Can't help it when the calluses are pretty focused on some areas and the rest of my hands are soft

I've shook hands with people who literally have hands like leather. It's pretty respectable tbh, but I don't mind shaking soft hands cuz I know not everybody can develop them
