I want to make all my folders use the Details view rather than them choosing some random view

But highlighting them and going to Properties doesn't offer this, I can only change them by going into each folder

At the top you should have File, Home, Share, View

Oh you want to change every folder simultaneously. I honestly don't know. You can't just do it to each one as you go? How many folders do you intend to have open at the same time? Also default is usually the Details view. At least it was on mine for most.

View -> Options -> View -> Apply to Folders

Probably anyway.
