Best Megaman Spinoff Series

I haven't played all of these. So my opinion is limited.

It seems Megaman Spin off Series have all been decent to great. I don't think there is a bad spin off based on my experience and opinions of others.

Based on what I played my favorite is the Battle Network series. Followed by the Zero Series. Then the Star Force Series. I haven't played or played enough of the other series to form an actual opinion.

Of the 5 I prefer the X series as I like the platforming. Network Transmission from the Battle Network series fits this as well, but my second favorite would probably be ZX which follows the Zero series.

I think Zero was the most consistent in quality

BN followed by Zero and ZX together. Then SF, X, and Legends in that order.

Ignore when people say that the title length is not important, that a title should just convey what the game is about. They're just jealous theirs isn't as long

How is Megaman X a spinoff? lmao.

Megaman Legends.

If you consider X a spinoff (it's a platformer, and a direct successor to the NES games) then that.

DuranOfForcena posted...
is X really considered a "spinoff" series? i've always viewed it as an updated, reworked continuation of the main series.

For the sake of this topic I suppose it is? Yes I'd agree it just an updated sequel (which it is), but Zero, ZX, and supposedly Legends very long after that are all part of the same universe, but as these games go on the mechanics change alot.

I apologize. I have never played X. I typed in google a list of spin off series for Megaman and X came up. Also I combined Zero and ZX together. I should have made that clear.

I clicked X, but it's not really a spin-off. I change my vote to Zero.
