Do gay people say that to each other as a term of endearment?

"Hey! What's up, my ***?"

That has nothing to do with it anyways. But I know a few gays that use that term. Most people absolutely hate the word though.

The very real issue of homophobia in the hip-hop community is something that needs to be addressed

Not really. Hip Hop and Homosexuality are opposites and that doesn't need to change.

No it doesn't.

Eminem has said both

he said th n word?

Ya, before he was famous.

It's actually a pretty interesting talking point TC brings up, even if he's just stirring the pot.

Who was the famous TV cook who lost her credibility because she said the N word before she was famous?

I personally don't like his music but Cage is actually pretty damn famous for using the n word as a white rapper. He's fairly well respected in certain circles too [underground, 90's] so it's not like he's an unknown.

Also members from Non-Phixion, the white rap group from Brooklyn, have definitely said it. Like someone else mentioned, that'd include Ill Bill.

I think Eminem said it once but he profusely apologized for it and it was way before he got famous...for what its worth, he's surrounded by black guys in D12 and just in general. And I've seen a video where 50 Cent said in an interview that he even told Em he wouldn't care if Em said the n word. 50 was saying that he knows Em just listens to rap all the time and that black rappers will always throw out the n word anyway, so he just didn't think it was a big deal. Of course, if Em just started using it now as a middle aged white guy, that'd be career suicide.

And it's not a big deal to say the f word in a rap. Without any political commentary...it just isn't a big deal in the rap world and it never will be.
