Just wondering how this works. I mean, obviously there is no pregnancy concerns but the 15yr old is still "unable to give consent', right?

Also how does this work for the transgendered? If the 19yr old identifies as a male, is it a crime? Female?

Seems like an area where a shit ton of double standards can and do exist, but idk what the law actually says in regards to any of this.

Yeah, no kidding but let's not act like that isn't the primary reason these laws exist. To try and keep girls that are way too young from being taken advantage of by older men and possibly end up pregnant.

Yeah I forgot about this aspect. It is technically illegal for an older woman to have sex with a minor male, but I also assume this is to prevent the guy from getting her pregnant and being on the hook for child support before hes even able to support himself.

I don't think the original reason for the creation of the law matters, it's how the law applies in such scenarios.

I'm not sure why you are focusing on pregnancy. Sexual violation is still violation without pregnacy.
