...This is a private property. Last I checked, I could park anywhere on the property where my job is.

She just came out yelling at me, too. Just immediately making a scene instead of maybe asking a few questions and being friendly about it, and asking why I park there.
Nope. Just get right to the anger.

You can still get out honey. It's called 'reverse, drive, reverse, drive' and you're free. Maybe your 4'5 ass shouldn't be driving a behemoth vehicle.

Was she mad at you for parking in the empty space in front of her?

It's a large shared driveway. Veering to the right leads to the parking lot of my work - behind the building. Problem is - there's not enough spaces there, so I've always parked next to the building for years. The guy next door apparently thinks he can put a parking lot in his part of the driveway, and monopolize the real estate that both properties have a right to. They have a parking lot in the back as well (veering to the left) - just as large, if not larger. I don't think they use that space for parking, though, and guess what? Who's fault is that?

It's not fair that one company can use the extra space in the large driveway, and the other cannot. There's no other parking, too. A few years ago an old car dealership across the street got closed down, and a Rite Aid moved in. HUGGGE parking lot for a Rite Aid...like, insanely, huge. So, I started parking there for a while. Then, another car dealership bought/leased those parking spots and put a gate in. That ended the free parking I had going on. There's nowhere else to park in this area.

Usually we have three cars park next to our building, so it's not just me, either. We would have about 5-6 cars blocking each other in back there, and it would be utterly ridiculous. Every 15 minutes we'd have to play musical cars.

No. Learn how to drive honey.

I mean, if we had a lawn, and my boss was like "yeah you can park there" why wouldn't I be allowed to park there if I had permission from the owner of the property?

So basically, you're parking illegally?

I'm on a private property. As long as the owner of the property is fine with where I'm parking, and I'm not blocking anyone in, it's perfectly legal.

And actually, I'm over exaggerating the 'reverse, drive, reverse, drive' sequence.
You can likely get out with just one reverse and drive' sequence. Most people I see leaving get out in one sequence - as do I.

You know what really made me mad though? The fact that she just came out yelling at me instead of acting like an adult. Like, we can exchange our concerns in a positive way. It really shook me. I'm not expecting to get yelled at by some stranger the second I leave my car. I actually kept walking away from this lunatic and got inside. This is not how adults handle real life situations.

It's hard to react to someone suddenly yelling at you when you least expect it. It takes you by surprise.
