Anyway, yeah like I said I was in a similar situation, to keep it kinda short after a year or two of being really good friends she ended admitting she liked me while she had a bf and almost a year later ended up dumping her bf(different one I might add) for me and then broke up with me like a week later. I later found out she had either another Bf or the same one she supposedly dumped for me less about 2 months later.

You should probably stay away from this girl, just not do any of the stuff you mentioned or not try to date her or anything, even if you like her because if it's anything like the situation I was in it's probably gonna end up being more painful than if you just cut her out of your life.

Side question: How old are you two?

jesus christ my life is like a huge joke. it doesn't even seem real when i type it out.

I sent her a texta few hours ago and I was like "hey maggie, I've got some stuff I want to talk to you about, can we meet up after I get out of work?" and she said sure. but then like an hour before I got out, she text me and said she wouldn't be able to meet me, but I should call her so we could talk about stuff. I called her... and the reason she couldn't meet up is because her uncle just died, and she's been in her apartment mourning and crying and stuff, and didn't feel like getting up and going anywhere (which is understandable). and so she was like "please talk to me about what you wanted to talk about, I don't want to think about my uncle right now'" but like obviously I'm not going to say "already yeah so lets about whether or not we cheated last night," so I just talked to her about my day and stuff, and we talked about cartoons and blah blah.

I guess I'll bring it up later. Or never. who really knows.

She ended the phone call with a very platonic "I love you", though. so that's a good sign.

we kinda have a thing for cars, I think. About a month ago we drove to Sonic and I told her I think cars and old-fashioned drive-in restaurants (not Sonic) and theaters are uber romantic, and that I could think of pretty much no other place I'd rather be than alone in a car with someone. It started a thing where jokingly we would go to a park and instead of getting down we would just sit in the car for two hours, or we'd go star-gazing, but watch through the sunroof instead of from outside. Obviously we do things outside of cars, too (lmao), but it's like an in-joke. So that, plus the fact that we had to move significantly less form front-seat to back-seat than from front-seat to bed. And we had to be awake in less than two hours and beds are too comfortable for that.

Okay, so let's say I agree (because I do). There's still nothing to do. I've never met or even seen her SO, so I'm not going to tell them. She hasn't mentioned anything is weird, so why would I? I'm not pretending anything. I'm saying different people have different lines drawn about relationships. Just because I'd uncomfortable doesn't necessarily mean she is. Her SO is "worried" about me, but nothing's changed, so nothing's different or worth worrying about.

small update in which I didn't do anything:

I told one of my good friends about all of this, and he said I should tell her I feel guilty or whatever, and tell her that she should tell her SO.

I spent the last 10ish hours with her, so we talked a bit, but she's pretty popular so there are a lot of people around and we don't get a lot of alone time. But when we did manage to get a room to ourselves, she told me she was thinking about breaking up with her SO. Something about having too much going on in her life, and a long distance thing not working or being helpful. Also that college is a time to not be super tied down. She doesn't know how or when she's going to do it, but she seemed pretty set on doing it.

I guess that's a good thing. I didn't end up telling her anything, just giving her a big hug.

so I think i'm back to square 0 about how this all makes me feel. i just don't think what i feel is important right now, so I'm not really gonna say anything until maybe never.

Also this is gross but I was walking her home and we came across this half-empty bag of sour gummy worms on the floor. Maggie hates littering so she picks up trash and takes it with her until she can throw it away. So she picked it up and I dared her to eat one and she did x.x I felt bad so I ate one too.

I remember when my best friend's girlfriend broke up with him during sophomore year of college because she wanted to have a college lifestyle, which I can only assume meant going to parties and fucking any guy she wants to without feeling guilty.

They were together for like maybe 3 years before she dumped him. While it was her choice to dump him, I still kinda disliked her for it. I mean, she really must have not liked my friend at all to dump him for that reason. I felt so bad for him.

Hes a super cool guy, extremely good looking and charasmatic. A very good guy and girls basically all want him. He seemed to be pretty hurt and wound up dating this skeezer (who coincidentally was named maggie).

well she's big on touching people but she only truly cuddles with three people, and we're all friends lol. I wouldn't say that's "various." One of them is pretty infrequent, the other hasn't happened in months, and we cuddle maybe once a week or so.
