This is a known thing.

The issue is they're not talking about "Triple A" or console games like we discuss on this site.

They're talking about things like Peggle, Farmville, Cany Crush etc and the slew of mobile and broswer games that are immensely popular.

Nothing wrong with them (IMO) but it's kinda dishonest to say "Most gamers are girls." when the fact is people who talk about "Gamers" aren't talking about people who play Peggle while waiting for the bus.

Talk about COD, Witcher, GOW, Mass Effect, Persona, Mortal Kombat, Zelda, Sonic, Madden, Assassin's Creed etc and it's still male dominated. Even services like Steam are male dominated.

So it's a misleading piece of Trivia. Like saying "95% of black people voted Obama!" and not mentioning that since 1960 no Democratic candiate recieved less than 82% of the black vote.
