It started in 2002 when I entered high school. Fucked that up from the jump. I was there to socialize, not learn. I was literally 18 in the 10th grade before dropping out. Although I did easily get a GED immediately after.
Went to community college for a while until my alcoholism got to the point that I was drinking in class. I stopped showing up. Been a drunk for 11 years at only 29. Multiple DWI convictions, even went to an upscale treatment center for 2 months. Didn't work the steps. It was a vacation to me. Always been able to hold a job, but nothing better than grocery/restaurant business. Blown all the money I've ever made, keeping just enough to support myself and get buy. Absolutely nothing to show for anything. I wish I could teach teens what not to do. The ones like me won't listen. ... Copied to Clipboard!

It's never too late to try again to get things right.
