They even made fun of it on an episode of South Park when Cartman met Bart and Bart acted like he was this super bad kid, but then Cartman asks him what he's done and it was nothing compared to Cartman. Bart is just a kid. he has never done anything that bad. and the show at the end of the day shows family values and love.
