My copy of Pokemon Heart Gold got eaten by my Fiancee's dog. I lent it to her and she let it get eaten. Gamestop finally got a copy in and it's really expensive even with the 20 dollars I'll get for trading in Pokemon Pearl I'm still looking at a 30 dollar price tag. My dilemma is this, should I ask my Fiance to foot half or all of the remainder? Or would that come off as being a jerk?

If you're not comfortable with the idea of shared finances at this point, you might want to reconsider that wedding. You can ask her for the money, but pretty soon it (should) be all the same pot of money.

You've seen The Godfather part 2 I hope, take her on a boat to go fishing, make sure to....oh you mean to have her replace it.
