I'm still not clear on what being "red pilled" is.

I thought it was one of those "I hate all women" things, but then someone told me it's an "I don't trust the government" thing, which would kind of make me a red pill if that's the case.

Is that the truth?

I used to be a lefty, I was all for equal rights for everyone, didn't give a shit about anything. But then at work I kept getting told that I was a racist piece of shit just because I wouldn't sell alcohol to black minors. I shrugged this off initially. Mexicans would tell me I'm a Trump supporter because I couldn't take food stamps for alcohol and cigarettes.

I didn't support Trump. I was for Bernie initially, was 100% positive he was going to win.

But I started following the news around Hillary, the email thing was weird but I didn't care for it. The thing that got me, was how she literally smashed hard drives with a hammer before handing them over to the police. I thought "Wow she's going to get crucified for this."

What happened? Nothing. Everyone was so focused on Trump who said a mean thing 10 years ago. What the fuck?

Meanwhile at work, I got fired. All those minorities who wanted me to illegally sell them alcohol and cigarettes kept calling corporate and filing complaints against me and my "racism". It seems it doesn't matter if you didn't do anything wrong, if you get complained about enough they just let you go.

Around this time my mother who lives in El Paso, Texas and works as a Nurse, called me and was telling me how Mexican women cross the border and induce themselves into labor to premature babies just so they can stay in the US... That's fucked up.

This was when I realized how the world really works. Minorities aren't some special race of people that need our protection, they're just like everyone else. We're all pieces of shit.

Then Bernie gets shafted out of the presidency by Hillary and people STILL supported her. This blew my mind.

So I said fuck it, I'm voting for Trump and I'm becoming a republican. #buildthewall

It varies slightly by context. The common thread is people who are red pilled believe they see how things really are in ways that people don't typically acknowledge.

@ImPickleRick
Where did you find this story reddit ?, if this is actually true then thats pretty fucked up.

Don't know what people consider a "red pill" since that seems to change whichever way the wind blows.

It's true. I don't know why people are laughing at me.
