Yeah the eyes being cg don't help either. I like that Curry's actually looks like a clown before he gets all freaky with his teeth.

I haven't seen the 90s one in ages, but I disagree, they made him do a lot more creepy and just unsettling things overall (not just as a clown) in this one and I also thought his look fit more with the overall tone as opposed to a more modern day, colorful clown. Curry's Pennywise is still a creepy ass clown and whenever he talks you just get chills down your spine.
