KainWind 09/09/17 8:41:29 PM #5:	I hated how I looked in my first pair of glasses. I've worn contacts every day for the past few years and they are great. I got new glasses that aren't bad though. Contacts -> forget you have them on when you sleep and you can get an infection that causes permanent blindness and perhaps removal of the eye. It's not just the physical aspect of not having to wear something on your face, but your peripheral vision actually exists and you don't get that wide-angle fishbowl effect. It's like having perfect vision again. You also don't have to worry about getting them smudged or specks of dust on them. That was a huge annoyance for me wearing glasses. Glasses have only 2 upsides: they can be a fashion item, and they're less work to put on and take off in the morning and before bed if you're lazy like me.
