I heartd the first one started out terrible but they fixed some of it and haven't even heard about the second one. And I have no prolonged interest in multiplayer but do you need that useless ps plus to play multi?

Destiny 2 has a great campaign but i mean its still an MMO in ways so once you get past the story theres not much to do on your own

No. the campaign you can finish by yourself but the best, most fun content requires a fire team.

Unless you specifically mean PvP vs PvM

The game's PvM is very fun. You can easily get to max level playing only pvm

Destiny 1 isn't worth it at this point. Either buy 2 or skip them both.

Also, I'm pretty sure you don't need PS Plus unless you want to enter any matchmaking (Strikes, PvP, etc).

The story is decent at best though, I wouldn't buy the game if I had zero interest in playing with others. Also, you realise you don't have to communicate to play multiplayer? Just treat the other players like NPCs and don't worry about them.

There's plenty of PVE content that you'd do fine in.

You can play without it you will miss out on raids and other features but I wouldn't recommend buying it since the end game is mostly online multiplayer you might as well buy another game

You can get to max level without ever stepping foot in the cruicible(PvP).

The PvM requires teamwork not skill.

You can do strikes and public events. Even if you dont play all day you can still participate. I play casually as hell now and i can still do good in Crucible.

Nobody's going to be playing D1 now that D2 is out. I can't speak for D2's story, but D1's was pretty bad. And short.

I enjoy destiny's story. The traveller, the darkness, the different factions fighting over it, I think it's dang'd cool.

No reason to play Destiny 1, especially from a story standpoint. You basically had to read everything online, it wasn't explained in game. I would just watch a 15 minute youtube video that explains all the lore from the first game and expansions.

Destiny 2 has more cut scenes and exposition in the first couple missions than the entire first game combined.

Not worth it for single player, Has good Co-op PVE that is worth playing with friends, The PvP isn't very good.
