God has a grand plan designed and laid out for the world, but I'm not convinced he's in control of every tiny detail at all times. Free Will is precisely used because God wants to make our own choices whether to believe in him or not. Also, Christianity makes the most sense compared to other religions due to its always compelling evidence in its favor. The belief that trials are meant to be experienced and to lead one to self improvement. Most religions are founded on faith and self improvement.
