It all depends on the people around you. If you get along with them, it can actually be great. But if they're annoying and loud and obnoxious, then it can be brutal.

I've been lucky to be around great people for my first job and around medium-quality people for my second job. Job 1 was way more fun from a social perspective (but job 2 pays more ^^)

Depends on the day, but I've experienced both. Got my own office now though, kinda cool, but shut off from everyone else...

I work in an office. While it's designed to be cubicles, they gave me my own room. It affords many liberties such as being able to post on this site when I'm not busy.

I do. It kinda sucks where I work cuz it's 90% middle aged women (and they're real fat cuz it's the south). I used to have my own office but management moved me into kind of a closet with a few other people cuz I was on my phone so much (not that that's gonna change anything, lmao)

I do. it is a soul crushing environment. ive had an office multiple times but have been without an office for about 6 months now.

happiest I have ever been working was at a rental yard when I was outside and lifting heavy shit all day, but it paid like $10/hour (circa 2004) so that wouldn't let me live a decent life in western Washington. im not built to be inside all day.

I have my own office, thank god. Cubie land was hell especially around women. Yeah you'd think it's a good thing but it's hell. Women at my office are sexist as fuck. Demands things and expect men to do the hard work for them. They talk about sex with other men, sex with their husband, menapauses, their periods, their boyfriends/husbands ED.... it's all bad.
