Dark Souls III. I killed Yhorm the Giant without that sword in his arena that he's vulnerable to because I didn't see it. It took like 45 minutes.

It sucked.

I didn't realize there were bloody finger prints on the keypad in the elevator in SH2 :/ I never finished the game because of it...

I just finished FF VII for the third or fourth time and got all the achievements which includes mass grinding to master materia and get 99,999,999 gil. I just found out you can rearrange materia and even swap between characters about an hour ago.

In The Last Story, I beat Zangurak using only Zael, because I didn't realize that I could let my teammates into the battle arena when they appeared.

Though as hard as that fight was, it was pretty badass taking down that Ganondorf-wannabe mano y mano.

I got stumped for way too long in MGS2 when you start playing as Raiden. I didn't see the hole in the fence at all and couldn't find where to go.

I'll blame this on the Vita version!

I've clocked literally thousands of hours into Morrowind.

Bought the game in 2006. Took me almost a decade to find Denstagmer's Ring. I knew about it and what it did, and that it was super helpful to High Elf character's, but I always got the fucker confused with the Mentor's Ring that you can get near the beginning of the game if you know about it.

Many hard days were had with Altmer character's. Worse still, I knew what UESP was, but would still get confused as to where to go. It's such an easy thing to get to if your even slightly well equipped with silver+ weapons, but my dumb ass took almost a decade to figure that shit out, despite the fact that I've completed some of the hardest side quests in the game without.

In Demon's Souls, my first Souls game, I progressed 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 1-3, 1-4.

It...took me quite a long time. And I was just like "well I heard the game was hard..."



For those unfamiliar: this means I basically fought the final boss before even doing half of the game. In an RPG. >_>

With a high learning curve. That was my first of its kind.
