Her- do you want one? me- no my puppy might get jealous Her - because my daughters in town, she's 20 and pretty and back from school and likes to read. Me- ohhh... Her- you guys should go to a movie or dinner or something... Me- awkward silence Her- silence, I feel rejected. This was in front of other people. I feel so awkward now. I think my two biggest things are I'm friendly with this nurse now and how will we work together if her daughter doesn't like me and I don't want it to be awkward for daughter being placed in this position if she doesn't see it coming. I've never rejected a date before because worst case scenario is we don't have fun and don't do it again. It's a few hours.
