Something I've been wondering. I'm right-handed and not ambidextrous at really much of anything.

But I can fight/box with either stance. Both feel completely comfortable.

One time when I was in combat training I went up to the bag in a southpaw stance and my instructor was like, "wtf are you doing? you're right handed"

And I was just like, "Uhh this is just as comfortable."

Is this normal for everyone or am I just naturally ambidextrous?

I bat left handed in baseball. But I'm right handed with literally everything else. Super weird.

I don't train in boxing. I had to pass a week long course one time in basic punches and stuff, but nothing else.

I just notice when I'm shadowboxing in my living room and such, etc.

You're probably not as ambidextrous as you think you are. Every beginner thinks that they can just switch stances cause it's "natural".

You haven't done it nearly long enough to determine what side is stronger then LOL

I mean, I'm sure if I trained in boxing for 1000 hours in one stance, I'd probably favour that stance.

I'm just talking about how it feels naturally.
