Hulu has a lot more Disney content than Netflix. It just doesn't have the newest movies.

Have people been worried about Netflix from this? Essentially all I've heard from people are grumblings about yet another streaming service to potentially pay for.

Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less.

Nobody is forcing you to sign up for any of these.

There's enough content on HBO HULU and Netflix to last ages.

Disney won't have content that can't be rented or purchased elsewhere. Buying the Blu-Rays of the latest disney cartoons seems to keep any 3 year old satisfied.

I am pretty sure Netflix has partial ownership on those shows.

This. Netflix doesn't own the characters themselves of course. So Disney could always reboot. But Netflix gets to keep these shows on Netflix forever.

Here's a list of Disney's stuff on Netflix
https://www.whats-on-netflix.com/lists/disney-movies-on-netflix/

Not exactly amazing, but a few classics here and there (Cool Runnings, Heavyweights, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids). There's also a lot of movies that kids probably like and I guess they'll miss those.

does it mean losing ABC, Marvel, and Star Wars stuff too? Or just things specifically labelled Disney?

Feast your eyes on all the stuff Disney has slapped their name on.

You're expecting Cinderella and Duck Tales. You're going to get G-Force and Disney's version of Doug.

I think Netflix renegotiated the deal to keep starwars and marvel films longer. I don't know if it happened or not.

It's not so much that Disney is leaving as much as it is Netflix owns virtually nothing of what they put on their service. All they have is a platform and a user base. Their business is overwhelmingly focused on streaming now, but it is still at its core a rental business. One that is going to have far less appeal as DVD and Blu Ray gets phased out in favor of digital streaming.

I see streaming services as similar to consoles in that they need a Killer App to draw people in.
Netflix has House of Cards and Stranger Things and HBO has Game of Thrones.

All Disney has is their classic library and upcoming Marvel movies. That would be like buying a console to play a bunch of ports and old games because honestly most of the Disney channel is the television equivalent of shovelware.
