the tickets for my mom would be about 1100 dollars. the mattress would be about 900.

i dunno which to do. my parents aren't asking me to finance their trip, but i make more money than they do (they're both retired) so i want to help.

but my back pain is really ruining my life. im sleepy all the time. i wake up with a headache. its a night mare.

id get both but i really dont want to plunge 2k more into debt. fuck.

Why not get everyone to chip in?

Ask your parents to contribute a little to coming over. Ask your girlfriend to pitch in for the bed. Between everyone contributing you might end up paying out the same amount you would have had to for either by yourself.
