Maybe it's the equivalent of saying "alleged shooter" when we have the dude on film shooting people and being captured.

Hell, it pissed a lot of people off around here that they kept calling the Fort Hood shooter "alleged". Also that they kept addressing him by his military rank after he was already arrested.

I can't help but roll my eyes at the part where she says firing her basically proves her write. That kind of thing isn't always true. Just because your employer fired you over something inflammatory you said publically, doesn't mean that thing you said is necessarily true.

Too many people think that prejudice toward white people is justified because it's in response to prejudice. We're not all offenders and we shouldn't all carry the burden. "Diversity" isn't code for hatred of white people. It's about respecting and including individuals of many different backgrounds and walks of life. There's no room for hatred of an entire ethnic group when there's never been a crime for which an entire ethnic group has ever been at fault.



People will only post that a transgendered woman was fired because it makes her seem like a victim. But, honestly, she's a victim of her own prejudice and I have no sympathy for her in this situation. I only feel sorry for L’Oréal who is going to take flack from the crowds which agree with Monroe or the ones who feel that minority status means more than individual character.

Whatever happens, they did the right thing.

I've been trying to get people to understand this for over a year now, lol. it seems like one of those things people agree with in general until it happens to them.

then they cry "but muh freedom of speech!"
