I've seen a handful of episodes and it definitely had it's moments and isn't a bad show. But I don't get what made it so much more popular, just seems like your typical Adult Swim show. Am I not getting the humor or something?

you're a good guy, GREAT guy

It's kind of like a newer Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Random, over-the-top humor. Definitely more popular among the drug/drinking crowds.

The voices (especially the constant yelling and burping) were the biggest turn off for me. I get the appeal, but I just didn't care that much for it.

There are pretty broad appeals there between sci-fi plots with twists, humor and character studies. Something in there for most people imo tbh bbq bbyl

On the surface it's just like your regular adult swim show but it can be a lot deeper if it wants to be and the animation is very good. Plus it likes the push the envelope with what it can get away with

I tried watching the first episode, and it didn't draw me in at all, but tbh i really didn't like Family guy at all, until i had forced myself through like 5 episodes, and eventually i started to like it a lot. Maybe i need to do the same with RAM.

The pilot isn't even one of the better episodes. Try a few more.

Never, ever judge a show by it's pilot. That's like the golden rule of television viewing. Give it a few more, its 50 times the show Family Guy is.

To me. It's Futurama on steroids. It's like that show got family guyed.

Like how unexpected and random it can get.

The next is

Rick: "HOLY CRAP, MORTY RUN!!! I never seen that thing before in my life. I don't even know what the hell it is! We got to get out of here, Morty! It's gonna kill us! We're gonna die! We're gonna die, Morty!"
