People regard it as bad because of the art style or some sound effects, but can we just admire the good parts?

-Some of the hardest robot masters in the series (Freeze Man, Burst Man, and Slash Man, even with their weaknesses)
-Stages with multiple paths, secret items, special dialogues, etc.
-Bomb-ass music (Shade Man, Turbo Man, Spring Man, Slash Man, and Wily 1)
-THE hardest wily fight in the franchise
-Environmental effects from some weapons
-A cool (if somewhat edgy) rival to Mega Man


7 was freaking great. At least mid-high tier in the classic series.

Loved Bass/Treble and the adaptor packs for him and Megaman/Rush.

I have to say I did feel it was a bit clinky sometimes though, and a bit slower than many of the other games.

Still a lot of fun, and I really liked Turbo Man and Shade man.

I couldn't beat the final boss.

Nah, it fuckin' sucked.

I'd play the 8-bit remake version if they translated it and improved it a little.

I can't disagree with the criticisms of the game's clunkiness/claustrophobia due to its large sprites, or the fact that the game's too easy prior to the Wily stages, but it'll always be one of my favorite classic Mega Mans regardless.

I still haven't beaten the final boss.

I love 7. Great animation, great soundtrack. BurstMan may be my favorite of the series (as a robot master and his stage theme)

Yes the final Wily battle is a pain but with practice and understanding his pattern you can beat him easier. Last I played I got through his battle using only 3 tanks. (2 energy, 1 weapon)

I feel like the only person who just likes all the Megaman games. Then again im weird in that i grew uo with Megaman 6 on the NES.

The only bad main series Mega Man games are MM&B, X7, and X8
