I think the reason I enjoyed Overdrive so much was because of the two episode "Once A Ranger" event where 5 Rangers from past seasons showed up when the Overdrive team lost their powers.

I love MMPR, but the fact that its so long and had some bad parts (Like the alien rangers lol), that brought it down a little bit.

Obviously the most iconic series, set a lot of the archetypes for the series, and if I was ranking based on costumes (Which I might do next), it would be higher based on those.

I love RPM's plot but I think Time Force has a comparatively good plot and way better costumes/zords, so it kinda edged out RPM imo

Really the only reason why Turbo is higher for me is because the cast is still very likable (other then Justin of course). You get Tommy and the rest of the Zeo crew for half of it and the Space crew for the other half. And the Turbo movie was actually pretty good.

Yeah Operation Overdrive is pretty bad but the Retro Rangers episodes brought it up a little bit for me lol

Don't know about SPD being "great" though.

I don't really know why SPD gets mixed reception, it seems like people either love it or they don't like it. It had a cool/likable cast, decent story, cool universe, hot girls, great costumes, good zords, ect.

It also had one of the best first/second episodes in my opinion.

The only thing that I still think thats really weird about SPD is the whole Omega Ranger being a ball of light, that was pretty weird lol. I don't really understand why he couldn't have just been shown as Sam the whole time.

I personally love Ninja Storm, it might actually be my favorite series overall because of the cast, how cheesy it is, the theme song, and how great the costume designs are, but I don't think I could say its better than some of the ones ranked above it objectively. Maybe I could put it over MMPR, but I had to put some respek on MMPR's name because really the only reason why it isn't higher is because it was so long so it had more opportunities to have bad parts, its kind of hard to rank MMPR honestly.

I'll admit I haven't seen all of Dino Charge and Super Dino Charge but I have seen a decent amount of it and it was never that great to me. The highest I would put it is above Samurai.

They vary in quality. Personally, I mostly watched the original few and then got into it again around Ninja Storm and Dino Thunder, with Dino Thunder being my personal favorite and RPM my objective favorite. If you watch RPM, it's wildly different from any PR you might have ever seen. It also puts the recent movie to absolute shame in a shorter time (2 of its episodes alone is pretty much what the movie should've tried to accomplish).

Also, the yellow ranger from RPM is the main lead of the hit series iZombie. She's great there, and they actually make a Power Ranger reference a few times.

Gokaiger is the anniversary special but can be a very good starting point. The main cast is very likable and the pirate aesthetic is the only Sentai of its kind. Of course the real selling point is the cast's ability to cycle through some 35 years of Super Sentai.

While they sometimes pick and choose which team to copy in any given battle, the majority involves each episode being focused on maximizing the power of a single team with the help of an ex-Ranger, and this to me is where the show really shines. See, unlike Super Megaforce in which the producers hardly gave a damn about which old actors they could bring back (read the stories sometime, Saban is a cheap ass company), Gokaiger is a labor of love that managed to bring in at least one actor from 34 old Sentai shows. This way Gokaiger can replicate the feel of each of those seasons in one episode, and in some cases even serve as an epilogue to a respective series. Very rarely this means spoiling the plot of a show, but even then you likely won't realize you've been spoiled unless you watch that series with the Gokaiger episode fresh in your mind. Very different from Kamen Rider Decade, an anniversary season that both spoils and mangles the lore it's taking from.

So yeah, watch Gokaiger for both an awesome introduction to the crazy, live action anime world of Super Sentai, and a catalogue of every season to give you an idea of what you might like to watch next (assuming the subs are available).

That actually sounds like a great idea because I freakin love the designs of Gokaiger, definitely one of the best easily. I was so disappointed that they made it Super Megaforce in the US instead of making a new series for that season smh.

It's just above average in my opinion. Several series that stemmed from it were much better, and it was more Saved By The Bell than Super Sentai, which was a bad thing since the Super Sentai series MMPR came from was much better

I'm trying to judge them objectively and not include nostalgia, I'm a big power rangers fan so of course I love Mighty Morphin but I honestly think the ones above it are better overall.

I mean if it really makes you feel better you can put it in God Tier but I still think the ones above it are better.
