I just don't see the need to have social media in my life. I know most people use it, but there are some folks whom don't feel like it's necessary. I know I'm perfectly fine without it, but is there a stigma to people whom don't use Facebook?

Kinda, yeah. You'll be viewed as creepy for not having one.

Unless you clean up nice, then you'll just be viewed as eccentric or more of a loner.

Maybe a "hmm, that's a little weird" but nothing more than that. It will just make people frustrated that they cant FB stalk you.

Everyone uses twitter and instagram as their social media platform now anyways.

My wife and I got rid of ours a few years ago. Our friends either stopped using it or posted annoying garbage. We found ourselves wasting too much time on it so I tossed it then a few months later she did the same.

I don't really miss it. She still has snap chat and Instagram to waste time on with her sisters and I'm enjoying more free time to get things done like game, studying, and house work.

I use mine more as a photo album of my life/kid otherwise I almost never use fb. Your right though it's mostly a waste of time if you spend your time posting about everything you do on there
