He had no conditioning, he couldn't pace himself. He couldn't fight to the rules of the sport. Just fucking stop. He didn't win the first few rounds in any appreciable way. Obviously Floyd dominated overall and gave him the first few rounds to gas him out, but c'mon...Conor did better than most people expected. He actually looked like he'd be competetive if his stamina was better. McGregor landed about 25% of his punches, which is typical for Mayweather opponents.
