Sometimes people hang on to the original character design because its the first, but other times a new design completely destroys the original design. What are your examples?
DC's Aquaman has undergone several redesigns and while I still don't care much for the character, I have seen several redesigns that are far better than the original. Alucard and Dracula look their best in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night; much better than their NES origins. --- "Well, it's not a bad game. It's made by Capcom, so how could it?" ~ AVGN ... I liked Ninja Theory's take on Dante from DmC. I liked the more grounded look, and the way his hair patchily started to turn white.
I liked the Dark Knight's armored Batman suit. I've never liked the spandex look, and while I like Affleck as Batman, the Fatman suit is just awful. I liked the Amazing Spider-Man 2 costume. The huge eyes really gave it that Ultimate vibe. --- Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please. - Mark Twain ... Copied to Clipboard!
