Remember reading a report that during the recession a lot of office jobs actually had people just watching porn at work.

It's a terrible idea. If the company doesn't pay attention to/track/monitor/etc. what you do on the network, then you can get away with it unless someone catches you and reports you, but... Many places these days have traffic logging in some way or another and can see exactly what you've done after you've done it.

I just look at pics of porn on reddit while at work because my job tracks what website you go to. Norton blocks who can look at my computer which is awesome.

At my old job, there was a dude who got caught torrenting stuff at work. They didn't fire him, though.

I remember when I had a meeting to meet my adviser at school and the door was closed. After awhile he let me in and I saw him sitting at his computer and to the right there was some lotion and napkins. When I noticed, this was my reaction.
