alternate future. you know they were able to traverse the star systems with computers that still had green syntax and no mouse or touchscreen, etc. for whatever reason.

And yeah the moments can get tense in that game once its starts kicking off. After you've had encounters, the strategy is like you versus judit polgar & garry kasparov at the same time in chess; you aren't winning. :P

My headcanon is that these spaceships are using old school technology because it's incredibly affordable while also being reliable heh.
