Want to do this next year maybe. Save up about $10'000 and then quit work. Go backpacking. Sounds sick.

I'd start in Morocco and head east to Egypt, then head south to all the various regions and sights.

From what I hear I should avoid Libya, Somalia and Kenya if I don't want to be blown up or shot.

Anyone been to Africa? Are they nice to white people?
