I'm 25, so I'm definitely nervous that I could be the next victim of hair loss. Neither side of my family has issues with hair loss, but I'm still nervous about it.

Did it kill your confidence, or were you ok with it? When did it start happening? Do you shave your head or do anything to cover the hair loss?

My stylist swears I'm not, but it's a huge fear of mine. I take boitin and use a product hat seems to actually work well growing new hair.

Not losing my hair, but it wouldn't matter if I did. I'm black, so I shave my head. It looks good.

I've seen plenty of white guys that can pull it off as well. And I like the shaved look on Hispanic guys too.

I can't say I've seen too many East Asians, Indians or Middle Eastern men with shaved heads, though.

And we have a lot of Middle Easterners here in the Metro Detroit area.

My hairline looks a little better than Jude Law's

My dad is totally bald and went totally bald when he was 23 (I'm 28), so I was really, really worried when I was in high school, when it started. It hasn't progressed since I was 17, but it did look weird for a 17 year old to have Jude Law hair. Turns out my mom's brother has hair exactly like mine and you get it from your mom's side, so I don't think I'll lose any more.

I just wear it short and girls have never cared, I've been told I'm an attractive guy and have never had problems with women (but I also have a nice body)

So the theme is have a nice body. Imagine if Jude Law or Jason Statham were even a little fat... they'd look 20 years older and unattractive

I had a mohawk a couple years ago, but my hair on the top started balding, so I now I just stay bald, shave it every couple of days.

I've noticed a noticeably sizable thin spot right on the top of my head. Not sure if officially balding, but I've always had super thick hair so it's worrying. I'm only 26, man.
Like I don't care if I eventually go bald, but not before 30.

So I just go to the barber right now 2 times a month ($15 each). Anyone got clipper suggestions?

The hair at my temples is a joke. Bald spot at the crown that thins heading to the front of my head. I just keep a close buzz cut for now. I'm 30 now and I imagine I'm going to move to a full cue ball cut somewhere in my mid-30s.

I've cut my hair for years. I went to the beauty shop and asked the cashier which is a reliable clipper and she gave me a huge rundown. $50 for 8 years of haircuts so far.

Start with the same length all over, it's literally impossible to mess up. Then you can experiment with shorter sides, which is also extremely easy.

Embrace it. In my experience, it hasn't hurt my ability to find dates or anything. At first, like anything related to getting older, its demoralizing, but, you'll come to terms.

I take finasteride and use rogaine daily.

Initially just did rogaine as I wasn't thrilled with the idea of taking a pill daily. Didn't get the results I liked, so I started on fin as well, been on it nearly a year. Have some good regrowth to my hairline, happy I did it.
