With the only exception being I'd want square to remake the fmvs. Starcraft remaster doesn't change anything, it just adds more detail. It also adds little bit of extra story between games. Like 2 or 3 lines every few missions. It even allows you to instantly toggle between classic mode.

At least Brood wars sprites still look decent, the ff7 blocky characters not so much. The difference in quality between squall and cloud is gigantic. I agree, the combat did not need to change. It's just a casualty of people hating turn-based combat.
