And everyone's coming back :) even Krazee Eyez Killa is coming back! :D

All of these old shows coming back have me feeling apprehensive. I don't really trust them to be as good as they were. Even if you bring back all of the same producers and directors, there's something to be said for the time period that it originally ran. Is it really going to have the same impact?

Didn't really watch Curb specifically, but agree with this. I don't think there's a perfect way to pull something like this off because you have to strike a balance between feeling sufficiently modern and also maintaining the original charm of the show, and you basically sacrifice one for the other. Then there is the matter of actors having significant signs of aging, which can take you out of it a bit.

I wish these things would just stay dead and people would move on. I think most people have long since moved on by the time most of them do get revived, but they love being fed things from the past and then convince themselves they really need stuff like this once they hear about it.

Also, it might be hard for the cast to capture the same chemistry they had when they first created the show. Now, they're just doing it because of the demand from fans rather than having a brand new project that they can get excited about.

I'd like to know if there were ever a show that was revived that turned out to be as good if not better than when it originally ran. Not just remade, but actually revived with all the original cast and crew.

Curb shouldn't really be thrown in with he rest of the show you're talking about. It never actually 'ended', it was only on a short hiatus. And it was only off for like 5+ years.

Meh. I liked Seinfeld, but this show never quite clicked for me.

It honestly should've never even "ended" when it did. The show had a great thing going.

Regardless, I'm elated that it's coming back. Larry David is a comedic genius

The past season was one of the best yet, I can't wait to see what happens this season lol :)

I know it was a planned hiatus, but you might as well lump it in with all the other revivals. "Only" five years? That's a long time
